I feel so good staying up late, alone, for "me" time, i am an owl.

松阪牛 Matsusakagyu Yakiniku M, recommended by New York Times (NY Times) and many others. Delectable steak comes from the massaged, beer-sipping, black-haired variety in 松阪 Matsusaka, about two hours east of Osaka.
Source from Wiki says that Matsusaka beef is produced from Tajima-ushi heifers. They are raised in the quiet, serene area surrounding Matsusaka. Only female wagyu are raised in Matsusaka, where they are fed plenty of fodder, as well as tofu lees and ground wheat. When they have no appetite, they are fed beer to stimulate their eating, and receive regular massages. Soothing music is played to the cattle to "calm" them and promote better quality beef.
Matsusakagyu Yakiniku M served delicious marbled beef at a reasonable price.
松阪牛 Matsusaka beef certification
We decided on special Matsusaka course 5800yen and premium Matsusaka course 7800yen, drinks excluded. The most expensive and delectable meal we had in Japan, damage is about 220SGD.
They serve 12 types of Matsusaka beef, first column are for Standard course, second column for Special course and last column for premium course. Since we ordered Special and Premium, we will be having 8 types of meat from above.
How to read Matsusaka cow birth certificate.
That's a piece of cow lard, to butter our BBQ pan.
Tangy fresh house salad.
Assorted delicious appetizer, Matsusaka beef soup. Boiled under slow heat to ensure the tenderness of the beef remain.

Let me show you how it looks from behind.

Our Special and Premium set, 8 different types of mainly marbled and scarcity parts.
Texture and color of the meat looks so beautiful on the grill.
Dessert of the day, super soft jelly mochi with hot green tea.
Very satisfied meal, a sweet round up to our first Japan trip, although we felt guilty for gaining a kilogram each on this sinful meal.
Hozenji, small temple in the buzzing street.
Good night Osaka, Goodbye Osaka.
There is hourly 1000yen airport shuttle right beside our hotel, see i told you the location is fantastic isnt it. Had our last meal in the airport before hopping onto our no food provided budget airline.
Bacon sushi. Food in the airport is average, nothing to shout about.
Salmon sushi
Cant resist how cheap uni (sea urchin) is in Japan, we ordered this again but this time round, uni is not as fresh and has a fishy smell.
Loots bought on the last day in Osaka. Everyone knows about the 100 yen shop, heard of 300yen shop? Everything above only cost 300yen (approx 5SGD) each.
Supermarket is my best friend, whenever i visit a country i like to look into what kind of food the locals eat. Nuff say food is the easiest way for one to experience another's culture.
Different condiment, from left to right, nutmag, 柚子yuzu (Citrus) flakes, 柚子yuzu(Citrus) salt and green tea sugar.
My casual tee from instant ramen museum.
I think this cost about 5SGD, i wanted to try some premium instant ramen.
Look impressive already, even the noodle looks and taste different.
Thumbs up, kudos to Japanese's ramen technology, this is instant awesome.
Japan, a clean and well mannered country, language will be a problem if you don't speak little Japanese. They valued their culture and have strong faith in their believes, there are so many things that impressed you, everyday is an adventure, everyday is a surprise.
